This bold and beautiful Sauvignon Blanc is from the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. The best representation of the finest from each vintage.
Bright aromatic notes of blackcurrant leaf, green pineapple and crushed nettle. A mouth-watering crispness of grapefruit and flintiness with a delicate smoky oak on the finish.
Using Sauvignon Blanc fruit from the Awatere gives tropical aromatics such as grilled pineapple and dry herbs. Awatere delivers more texture and has more age ability.
We age 5-10% of the wine in a mix of French and German oak barrels, sizes 300L - 1000L.
We only select the best parcels to include in our Giesen The Brothers Sauvignon Blanc
