Deep red-black colour with a dark centre and a bouquet loaded with spicy plum and chocolate notes. The palate is typically firm, rich and with a long finish, which is a legacy of the low yielding vineyards of the north-west Barossa. Enjoy now whilst young and fresh, however, this wine will handsomely reward with cellar maturation.

The first wine Peter Lehmann ever made and sold was called ‘The Futures Shiraz’. It was exclusive to friends and family on a ‘pay now and deliver in two years’ type of arrangement. This ‘Futures’ wine is a toast to the faith of those friends and family who believed in their dream every bit as much as we did. It bears the same name as that original wine, and carries all of its spirited character.
